Using gamified learning scenarios to test brand knowledge – a mix of quiz-based techniques bring the facts to life through knowledge checks and scenario-based questions. These were carefully designed to replicate real-life situations that the Ambassadors might face. Combining facts and fun, it empowers and motivates them to learn the product knowledge they need to boost their confidence. Correct answers win hearts, with totals added to a European-wide leaderboard. Importantly, the number of hearts per country was converted into a donation to charity. The whole experience was developed using the Adapt authoring framework, making it easy for mobile workers to take part.

To drive consistency across territories for all new joiners, and to help provide an understanding of the business, a series of 4 e-learning modules (all about people, company culture, the market we work in, digital tools) delivered as part of a blended onboarding approach. Each module represents part of a journey where the learner is led through a series of challenges and scenarios by a virtual guide, awarding badges for successful completion of each area before unlocking the next.
